“…Currently, some studies examine AI technologies applied in certain areas (e.g. Ghobakhloo & Ching, 2019;Kushwaha et al, 2020;Malhotra & Rishi, 2019;Mazurek & Małagocka, 2019;Oyelude, 2017;Pradhan & Chawla, 2020;Simou, Tiligadis, & Alexiou, 2013;Xu, 1999). Other studies explore the theoretical foundation for AI (Chi-Hsien & Nagasawa, 2019;Haenlein, Kaplan, Tan, & Zhang, 2019;Kurade & Latpate, 2020;Murphy, 2018;Tung, 2019;Xu & Li, 2000;Zou, 2014) and applications of AI (Duan & Xu, 2012;Kouziokas, 2017;Lu, 2019;Lu, Xu, Xu, Li, & Cai, 2018;Qiu, 2018;Sanchez, Exposito, & Aguilar, 2020;Xu, Liang, & Gao, 2001).…”

“…Self-learning ability of AI and connectivity are the two factors which can prove very important to libraries in terms of user handling, networking and communication (Huang and Rust, 2018). Oyelude (2017a) visualizes AI as a technology which can think and act like a human without any manpower. Cox et al (2018) diagrammatically (Table I) presents the number of roles that libraries can play with their integration with AI.…”

“…Augmented Intelligence -the new AI -unleashing human capabilities in knowledge work, here the authors examined augmented intelligence in trans humanistic categories, emphasizing the importance of this technology for human development. The other publication like what's trending in libraries from the Internet cybersphere -artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies through very interesting and useful in the general understanding of the role of AI in libraries, it does not reflect the specifics of augmented intelligence (Oyelude, 2017).…”
