What to consider when tailoring benign prostatic hyperplasia treatment

Abstract: While there is a prolific list of minimally invasive procedures for lower urinary tract symptoms due to benign prostatic obstruction, the American Urological Association has yet to define their roles in the treatment algorithm. Therefore, it remains a challenge for urologists to identify the most appropriate treatment option for a particular patient.
