Abstract:We described the fracture of an ICD lead in a patient at the third device replacement.Through the remote monitoring electric interference was detected on the defibrillator lead despite the pacing and shock impedances during the leadlifetime remained stable and in a normal range. X-ray confirmed the lead failure and patient underwent to a lead replacement.
