While WSN is usually seen in the oral mucosa, other extra‐oral sites, such as the nasal, oesophageal, laryngeal and anogenital mucosa, may also be involved . The lesions are characterised by white, thick, spongy plaques, which have a corrugated and velvety surface that can be peeled away from the underlying tissue.…”
