Why Do Employees Have Better Family Lives When They Are Highly Engaged at Work?

Abstract: Past research on the effects of work engagement on the family has demonstrated contrasting effects, with some suggesting that work engagement is beneficial for family life while others suggesting that it may be detrimental.
