Abstract: Why I became an occupational physician … briefly explores the reasons and influences behind Bill Gunnyeon’s decision to pursue a career in occupational medicine. It takes us through his pilot beginnings at the University Air Squadron at Dundee University where he was studying medicine, and subsequent move to the position of RAF Medical Officer.
