Wie interagieren Nutzer mit Text- und Bildinformationen in einem Wikipedia-Artikel?

Abstract

How do users interact with textual and pictorial elements in Wikipedia articles? The PhD project explores the design of textual and pictorial elements in selected Wikipedia articles and their influence on users' information behaviour. Eye-tracking experiments, questionnaires and knowledge tests are conducted to get insights into users' behaviour. The aim is to detect correlations between the reception of text/ images and different parameters like learnings tyle, prior knowledge and subject of study.
