Abstract:A wireless polarized-channel simulator is described that can generate a variety of polarized-channel impulse responses. The simulator is useful in the broad research area of polarization-utilizing wireless communication systems. The simulator relies on a geometrically based statistical model (GBSM) for polarized wide-band channels, and consists of three-dimensional (3-D) concentric scattering cylinders about the mobile station. It can be used to model a polarized wide-band cellular down-link channel. To the be… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
