Abstract: Background: Acute liver injury (ALI) involves excessive oxidative stress(OS) and inflammatory responses, leading to a high mortality rate due to lack of effective therapy. Carbon tetrachloride (CCl4) is widely used to induce ALI by induction of reactive oxygen species.
