Abstract:This paper presents a way to evaluate the wood product quality according to his tomographic image. The use of X ray computed tomography and ad-hoc software allows to have a representation of an item (a product) before the first cutting operation. From this representation, we aim to obtain an honest evaluation of their aesthetic quality.
