Wound Healing after Mesh Inner Embedding and Outer Binding Pancreaticojejunostomy in Piglets

Abstract: Mesh inner embedding and outer binding pancreaticojejunostomy significantly enhanced the anastomotic firmness and sped up the wound healing process compared with conventional mesh inner embedding and outer binding pancreaticojejunostomy. Therefore, it may decrease the risk of pancreatic fistulas after pancreaticoduodenectomy.
