Wrong Antibiotic Prophlaxis in Surgical Practice in a Public Hospital

Abstract: ÖzetAmaç: Antibiyotik proflaksisi cerrahi alan enfeksiyonlarını önlemeye yöne-lik bir uygulamadır. Genel olarak standartları belirlenmesine rağmen pratikte farklı uygulamaların yapıldığı bir gerçektir. Literatürde bu konuyu irdeleyen hastane bazlı çalışmalar olsa da şu ana kadar yeterli kayıtlar olmaması nedeni ile cerrahi geçiren hastalara, taburcu olurken verilen oral antibiyotikler bu çalışmalarda değerlendirilmemiştir.
