X-ray diffraction study of CaF3O5

Abstract: The crystal system of CaFe3O5 has been determined by means of the X‐ray powder method as tetragonal, with the following unit cell parameters: a = (8.993 ± 0.004) Å, c = (7.880 ± 0.004) Å, c/a = 0.876, V = 637.306 Å3, Z = 6. The above values were obtained by numerical refinement procedure with the systematic error reduced to 0.5%.
