Abstract:Collection, evaluation and characterization of turmeric (Curcuma longa L.) genotypes prevailed in Southern Karnataka was carried out during 2018-19 and 2019-20 of Kharif season. Over 66 turmeric genotypes were studied to elucidate morphometric and genetic diversity. A significant difference among the genotypes for growth, yield and quality traits was recorded for all the traits was observed.
