Zellulre Komponenten im Lungeninterstitium beim pltzlichen Kindestod ? Immunhistochemische Charakterisierung

Abstract: Monoclonal antibodies against the Leucocyte Common Antigens LC and MAC-387 expressed by lymphocytes, mononuclear phagocytes and polymorphonuclears failed to mark the cells of the pulmonary interstitial connective tissue in cases of SIDS. Controls with interstitial pneumonia showed clearly marked inflammatory cells. Although focal proliferation of cells was frequently observed in the vicinity of distended lymphatics in SIDS cases, an inflammatory origin as in the cases of interstitial pneumonia could not be con… Show more

“…Ogbuihi and Zink, using monoclonal antibodies directed against leukocyte antigens, aimed to characterize cellular components in the lung interstitium of children who died with a diagnosis of SIDS. Although they could not confirm the inflammatory origin of the focal cell proliferations observed in SIDS, they did prove the inflammatory nature of cells infiltrating the lung lining in the cases of interstitial inflammation [29]. Among more recent work, Dettmeyer's report that CMV-infected cells typically present a positive immunohistochemical reaction for E-selectin is noteworthy [30].…”

“…Ogbuihi i Zink za pomocą przeciwciał monoklonalnych skierowanych przeciwko antygenom leukocytarnym zamierzali scharakteryzować komponenty komórkowe w śródmiąższu płuc dzieci zmarłych z rozpoznaniem SIDS. Co prawda nie udało im się potwierdzić zapalnego pochodzenia ogniskowych proliferacji komórek obserwowanych w SIDS, ale udowodnili oni zapalny charakter komórek naciekających podścielisko płuc w przypadkach zapaleń śródmiąższowych [29]. Wśród nowszych prac uwagę zwraca doniesienie Dettmeyera, iż komórki zakażone wirusem CMV typowo prezentują dodatni odczyn immunohistochemiczny na obecność E-selektyny [30].…”
