ZnO NPs: an efficient and reusable nanocatalyst for the synthesis of nitrones from DAG using H2O as a solvent at room-temperature

Abstract: A convenient and efficient method has been developed for the synthesis of nitrone compounds. Nitrone derivatives were synthesized in good yields via a green chemistry procedure using diaminoglyoxime and aldehyde or ketones in the presence of ZnO nanoparticles (NPs) as a catalyst in H 2 O as a solvent at room temperature.
