“…The polarization curves in Figure 10 show that the self‐corrosion current densities of both EHPAM and DHPAM solutions at the cathode and anode decreased to a certain extent and increased with increasing concentration compared to the blank hydrochloric acid solution, indicating that both EHPAM and DHPAM are effective corrosion inhibitors for Q235 steel sheets. The anodic self‐corrosion current density of EHPAM and DHPAM decreased more sharply than that of the cathodic self‐corrosion current density, and the change of corrosion potential was not very marked compared with that of the blank hydrochloric acid solution, demonstrating that EHPAM and DHPAM are mixed corrosion inhibitors with anodic inhibition as the main type [56,57] .
