Abstract:Electrochemical and micro‐imaging analysis of a commercial graphite‐composite material is presented following electro‐oxidation with β‐methylumbelliferone. Charge‐transfer surface modification was observed for the graphite electrode, presumed to have arisen from adsorbed interfacial umbelliferone moieties.
