What is scite?

scite is a platform introducing "Smart Citations" – citations that allow users to see how a scientific paper has been cited by providing the context of the citation and a classification describing whether it provides supporting or contrasting evidence for the cited claim. The tool offers similar functionality to Rotten Tomatoes but instead of providing experts evaluations for movies and shows, scite provides experts evaluations for any research topic in the world through Smart Citations. We sell individual licenses to undergraduate students, graduate students, professors, analysts, researchers, and others.
