In patients with advanced heart failure and LBBB, baseline SPWMD is a strong predictor of the occurrence of reverse remodeling after CRT, thus suggesting its usefulness in identifying patients likely to benefit from biventricular pacing.

Cardiac resynchronisation therapy implantation was the procedure with the highest risk of complications requiring surgical revision. Complications were associated with substantial clinical consequences and a significant increase in the number and length of hospitalizations.

Baseline SPWMD is a strong predictor of long-term clinical improvement after CRT in patients with severe HF and LBBB.
