This study was aimed at verifyjing the relationship between demographic and clinicalfeatures and nursing diagnoses established during a nurse consultation in a general hospital. This is a cross-sectional study that assessed 237 nursing consultations of patients in two different programs Women's Health (46 in obstetrical nursing and 24 in mastology nursing) and 167 in diabetes mellitus education. A total of 49 nursing diagnoses were identified. The most frequent in the women's health program were: knowledge deficit, impaired comfort, impaired tissue, integrity and anxiety; in the program of diabetes education were: ineffective therapeutic regimen management, and imbalanced nutrition: more than body requirements. There was a significant association between the most common diagnoses with certain demographic and clinical features.
