The appearance of new preparations with antioxidant properties allows us to improve the technology of fish feeding and increase the pro-oxidant-antioxidant balance. Due to the fact that an important criterion for choosing a feed additive is environmental safety, natural bioantiooxidants of flavonoid nature, in particular dihydroquercetin, isolated from larch wood, are of interest. It is known that dihydroquercetin has capillaroprotective, lymphokinetic and other properties, but it has a low solubility in water (about 1 g/l), which probably limits its pharmacological activity. In a recent study, it was found that the use of dihydroquercetin (DHA) in a composition with plant polysaccharides increases its pharmacological effect, which is associated with an increase in solubility. One of these commonly used polysaccharides is arabinogalactan, also isolated from larch. The scientific and practical significance of the work consists in testing the effectiveness of bioflavonoids in the composition of production feeds for sturgeon fish as sources of antioxidants, immunostimulants and prebiotics.
Sturgeon species of fish are a unique branch of the relict fish fauna. Species biodiversity, features of biology, a wide range, nutritional value, all taken together, made it possible to distinguish this group of fish in an independent direction-sturgeon breeding. In the last century, Russia accounted for up to 90% of the world’s stocks of these fish species. According to the number and species composition of sturgeon, the Caspian basin occupied a dominant position. Nevertheless, over the past 15-20 years, there has been a landslide undermining of the unique stocks of sturgeon fish in this reservoir. The main reason for the reduction of sturgeon stocks is the excess of the removal of populations over their replenishment. Against this unfavorable background, it became necessary to form broodstock in order to compensate for the decreasing number of wild breeders. To solve this problem, two main directions have been formed in sturgeon breeding – the domestication of wild fish and the cultivation of mature breeders in artificial conditions on the principle of “from eggs to eggs”. In the article, fish-biological and physiological indices of the first mature females of beluga grown in the natural background annual dynamics of water-medium temperature by the principle “from eggs to eggs”.
To create recommendations regarding the technological process of growing objects of warm-water aquaculture, the health of individuals in the created conditions of maintain is a necessary study. Taking into account the similarity of the necessary conditions for the organization of growing warm-water aquaculture objects, it is important to monitor the indicators that are bioindicators of homeostasis constants with a projection on the conditions of maintain, for subsequent adjustment of satisfactory conditions of maintain. First of all, these are hematological and biochemical bioindicators that determine the general characteristics of blood in the case of fish objects of sterlet and hemolymph in the case of crustacean objects of Australian freshwater crayfish and the concentration index of total serum protein that determines the “physiological norm”. When growing sterlet, a high level of total blood protein was established at 40.14±1.73 g/l and the hemolymph of the Australian freshwater crayfish was determined to have a protein concentration of 40.8±4.5 g/l. The presented analysis of bioindicators complements the missing information for monitoring the data of representatives of warm-water aquaculture, which will be valuable for specialists engaged in breeding these objects.
