Abstract:Potentially bioactive tetradentate novel Schiff base ligand and its mononuclear metal (II) complexes have been synthesized by the condensation method of p -nitroaniline, isatin, and 2, 2′ bipyridyl molecules in the ratio of 1:1:1.
