1.3 μm higher order LP11 mode pulses in praseodymium-doped fluoride fiber laser

Abstract:This work demonstrated an LP11 mode pulse laser at O-band using praseodymium-doped fluoride fiber (PDFF) as a gain medium. The Q-switched laser was initially generated using antinomy-telluride/polyvinyl-alcohol (Sb2Te3/PVA) thin film, and the LP11 modes were analyzed using a beam profiler. The pulse laser was achieved at a pumped power of 273 to 303 mW.
