Abstract:During storage and transportation, some classes of hydrocarbons in diesel fuel can undergo chemical transformations over time due to ambient temperature, sunlight, and oxygen in the air. As a result of these reactions, there are changes in the composition of the fuel, such as sediment, color change, turbidity, which have a negative effect on the physico-chemical indicators of the fuel.
