“…56 A comparison of the maximum emission intensities of the complexes investigated with the reference complex Ru(bpy) 3 2+ resulted in the ECL yield of 0.10, 0.21 and 0.15 for 1–3 , respectively, proving that the introduction of transition metals can strengthen the spin-orbit coupling effect and lead to a positive effect on the ECL intensity. 57,58 Based on these results, complexes 1–3 can open up a new direction for the design of novel coordination polymer ECL materials with excellent electrochemiluminescence properties at a low cost.…”

“…Our group has been working on electroluminescence of complexes, especially pyrazole-based transition metal complexes [29,30]. As our ongoing work, in this paper, Cu(II) and Cd(II) were chosen as the inorganic nodes to coordinate with 1H-pyrazole-3-carboxylic acid (H2L) ligand and auxiliary ligand, and obtained two new complexes [Cu2(L)2(4,4′-bpy)]n and [Cd(HL)Cl(1,10′-phen)]n. The photoluminescence properties and ECL properties of complexes 1 and 2 have been investigated.…”
