Abstract: Specific features of the nonstationary transmission of two pulses exciting biexcitons from the ground state in a thin semiconductor film are studied. It is shown that one of the incident rectangular pulses is totally reflected from the film, whereas the second pulse passes through it as through an absolutely transparent medium. Criteria for appearance of a stationary bistable transmission are determined.
