1233P Epidemiology of female lung cancer in tertiary level hospitals in Bangladesh

Abstract

Background: Lung cancers are increasing not only in men but also in women but there is a few clinical and epidemiological data from developing countries. Female lung cancer is different from that in males. These differences impact on the clinical presentation, histology, and outcomes. Bangladeshi women are less used to tobacco or alcohol use than western countries. But females of Bangladesh now a days presenting with lung cancer is more than past. Methods:The study was an observational study. All histologically confirmed cancer female patients in National Institute of Cancer Research and Hospital and Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College hospital from Jan.2010 to Dec.2019(10Years) were included.
