Abstract: INTRODUCTION: Takotsubo cardiomyopathy or stress cardiomyopathy (TCM) is a transient reversible form of cardiomyopathy. It is characterized by reduced ejection fraction and signs of myocardial ischemia and often precipitated by acute emotional or physical stressors.
