Abstract:Background: Juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) is the most common chronic rheumatic disease in childhood and is of unknown aetiology. Progressive pseudorheumotoid dysplasia is a rare, autosomal recessively inherited, non-inflammatory musculoskeletal disorder caused by mutations occurring in the WISP3 gene.
