Abstract: Background: Considering that people with type 1 diabetes (T1D) and impaired awareness of hypoglycemia (IAH) have a delayed perception of hypoglycemia, the question arises if they perform scans later in case of hypoglycemia compared to those with normal hypoglycemia awareness (non-IAH).
