164 Gonadotrophin-releasing hormone injection and colour flow Doppler ultrasound of the preovulatory follicle as a tool to increase pregnancy outcome after timed AI in beef cows

Abstract: The aims of this study were to determine (1) the association between Doppler vascularisation scores (DVS) of the preovulatory follicle (POF) and fertility of beef cows submitted to timed AI (TAI) and (2) whether cows with low DVS benefit from a gonadotrophin-releasing hormone (GnRH) treatment at TAI.
