“…A porphyrin analog, TCPP, was chosen because its optical, electronic, and photophysical properties are sensitive to the surrounding environment, making it suitable as a probe. [42][43][44] A series of ms-TCPP were prepared by changing the ratio of starting TCPP and lysine molecules in the 1 : 4, 1 : 16, 1 : 64, and 1 : 256 ratios (mol : mol) to prepare large sedimentations (Fig. 3A).…”

“…Assemblies of tetrakis (4-carboxyphenyl)porphyrin and tetrakis (1-methylpyridinium-4-yl)porphyrin p -toluenesulfonate are organic crystalline nanofibers that show an aggregation-induced chromism ( Rodríguez-Abreu et al, 2020 ). In all these structures, it is again taken advantage of combining two different non-covalent interactions, in this case, electrostatics and π-π interactions.…”

“…Anionic tetra-(4-sulfonatophenyl)porphyrin and cationic tetra-(N-methyl-4-pyridyl)porphyrin form ionic organic solid microneedles with various ratios as depicted in Figure 2, which are photocatalytic active (Düring et al, 2018). Assemblies of tetrakis (4-carboxyphenyl)porphyrin and tetrakis (1-methylpyridinium-4-yl)porphyrin p-toluenesulfonate are organic crystalline nanofibers that show an aggregationinduced chromism (Rodríguez-Abreu et al, 2020). “…Numerous intermolecular non-covalent interactions (π-π stacking interactions; hydrogen bonding interactions; electrostatic, hydrophobic, and hydrophilic interactions; and metal-ligand coordination) are accountable for the self-aggregation of free porphyrin or metalloporphyrin compounds [41][42][43][44][45]. Unlike inorganic nanostructures, self-assembled porphyrin nanostructures are formed using several methods, including ionic self-assembly [46,47], reprecipitation [48,49], metal-ligand coordination [50,51], sonication-assisted self-assembly [52,53], and surfactant-assisted methods [54,55]. The morphologies of these organic nanostructures are not always uniform and are not suitable for numerous practical applications.…”
