Abstract:Molecules of the title compound, C14H15N4S÷.C1-. -1.25H20, are linked through intra-and intermolecular hydrogen bonds to form a dimeric structure. The crystal structure of the dimer is stabilized by two intermolecular hydrogen bonds of the N--HN...S type and two intramolecular hydrogen bonds of the N HN...C1 type. The inter-and intramolecular bonds form an eightmembered and a ten-membered ring, respectively.
Herein we report the synthesis, X-ray characterization, DFT calculations and Hirshfeld surface analysis of seven complexes of transition metal ions with pyridine-based thiosemicarbazone ligands.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
