20 W, 15 ns High-repetition-rate and high-beam-quality MOPA laser by spherical aberration self-compensation at 1342 nm

Abstract:A master oscillator power ampli er (MOPA) pulsed laser operating at 1342 nm is demonstrated. It consists of an acousto-optical (A-O) Q-switched oscillator and two-stage Nd:YVO4 power ampli ers. The spherical aberration self-compensation technique is used in the second stage ampli er to obtain highbeam-quality laser output.
