“…Most importantly coatings developed using this technique are quite economical compared to other thermal spray techniques. 4 Taking a cue from this many nickelbased coatings such as NiCrFeSiB, 5 Cr 3 C 2 -25NiCr, 6 Ni-(Ti, W)C, 7 Ni 3 Ti, 8,9 and NiTi, 10 were developed using the HVOF process.
