3-D Reconstruction of Digital Outcrop Model Based on Multiple View Images and Terrestrial Laser Scanning

Abstract: This paper presents a comparative study about 3D reconstruction based on active and passive sensors, mainly LiDAR - Terrestrial Laser Scanner (TLS) and raster images (photography), respectively. An accuracy analysis has been performed in the positioning of outcrop point clouds obtained by both techniques.
