39.3: The LCD Technology Development and Application with an Improved Black Photo Spacer Structure

Abstract: A novel Black Photo Spacer (BPS) structure is demonstrated in this present work. The black BPS material supports the substitution of black matix (BM) to realize shading function. Thus the BPS technology can integrate BM into PS process, which saves the material, mask, machine and time cost. In order to improve stability, we use full tone mask design.
