“…1 XRD patterns of La(Mg 1−x Zn x ) 1/2 Ti 1/2 O 3 ceramic systems form solid solution, and all peaks match with La(Mg 1−x Zn x ) 1/2 Ti 1/2 O 3 compound. Lee [6] refinement of these neutron diffraction data indicate that the true symmetry is probably P21/n (0.3 ≤ x ≤ 1), this structure is essentially very similar to those of La(Mg 1/2 Ti 1/2 )O 3 and Nd(Mg 1/2 Ti 1/2 )O 3 proposed previously [6]. In perovskite compounds, two mechanisms are commonly responsible for unit-cell doubling: cation ordering and tilting of oxygen octahedra.…”

“…10,11) As it has reported, La(Mg 0:5 Ti 0:5 )O 3 ceramics was a promising microwave material for application of dielectric resonators and filters. 12,13) It exhibits dielectric constant of 28, Q Â f of 631000 GHz and negative f of À79 ppm/ C. The purpose of the present work thus is to stabilize La 2=3 TiO 3 and adjust the f of La 2=3 TiO 3 by introducing La(Mg 0:5 -Ti 0:5 )O 3 . The sintering and microwave dielectric properties of (1 À x)La 2=3 TiO 3 -xLa(Mg 1=2 Ti 1=2 )O 3 were also investigated.…”

“…Several complex perovskite ceramics A(B 2+ 1/2 B 4+ 1/2 )O 3 (where A = La, Nd, Sm; B 2+ = Mg, Zn, Co, Ni, Mn; B 4+ = Ti and Sn) have been reported due to their excellent microwave dielectric properties [1,[8][9][10][11][12]. Among them, La(Mg 0.5 Ti 0.5 )O 3 exhibits dielectric properties of high ε r ∼ 29 and the Q × f value ∼75,500 GHz [13,14].…”
