Abstract: Oral cancer is the sixth leading cancer globally and the leading carcinoma in the Indian subcontinent. The relatively high incidence is due to usage of tobacco, and exposure to carcinogens are frontrunners of oxidative stress-induced DNA damage. The practice of chemopreventive agents is considered to be alternative oral carcinoma.
