Abstract:The zwitterionic 4-(ammoniomethyl)benzoate ligand contains both a metal-coordinating carboxylate and a hydrogen-bond donor, primary ammonium group, which both contribute to the formation and arrangement of oligomeric or polymeric assemblies.
