4-(Naphthalen-1-yl)pyridine

Abstract: In the title compound, C15H11N, the mean planes of the aromatic moieties are inclined to one another by 72.9 (1)°. The crystal is stabilized by π–π stacking inter­actions between the pyridine rings of inversion-related mol­ecules, with a centroid–centroid distance of 3.772 (2) Å.
