45.4: High Frequency LVDS Interface for F‐HD 120Hz LCD TV

Abstract: In FHD 120Hz TV, frame rate converting IC with the MEMC (Motion Estimation and Motion Compensation) function is applied to make the 120Hz image and 2 cables with 4 port LVDS pairs are used to transmit FHD 120Hz image data. Therefore, The cost of FHD 120Hz TV System is higher than the cost of FHD 60Hz TV System.
