5-Aminouracil as a Building Block in Heterocyclic Synthesis: Part IV. One-pot Synthesis of 1H-Pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidine-2,4(3H,7H)-dione Derivatives Using Controlled Microwave Heating

Abstract

An efficient and direct procedure for the synthesis of pyrrolo [2,3-d]pyrimidine-2,4-dione derivatives using controlled microwave heating has been described. The products were characterized by elemental analyses, IR, 1 H NMR, 13 C NMR and MS spectra.
