Abstract:CONCLUSIONS: Urinary insulin was detectable in most infant urine samples, with substantial inter-individual variability observed by 14 months of age. Insulin increased across infancy, likely reflecting changes in feeding since integration of solid foods into the diet tends to accompany breastfeeding cessation. Funded by NIH R01HD093662.
