Abstract:In the title compound, C14H10FNO3, the dihedral angle between the two benzene rings is 32.66 (14)°. An S(6) ring motif is formed due to an intramolecular O—H⋯O hydrogen bond between the hydroxy and carbonyl groups. In the crystal, molecules are consolidated into dimers with R
2
2(8) ring motifs by pairs of O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
