50 Gb/s PAM-4 VCSELs operating up to 125°C

Abstract: 850-nm VCSELs are designed for high temperature operations. High bandwidth with a flat frequency response, low RIN and narrow spectral width enable 50 Gb/s PAM-4 up to 125°C, demonstrating the capability for harsh environment applications.
