Abstract: In the early 1960s, Joachim Brugsch , one of the founders of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine ( CCLM ) (then Zeitschrift f ü r Klinische Chemie ), had the idea to found a journal in the upcoming field of clinical chemistry.
