55.4: Influence of He‐Ne‐Xe Gas Composition on Vacuum Ultraviolet Ray Spectra in Plasma Display Panel

Abstract: The vacuum ultra-violet (VUV) ray emission characteristics for Plasma Display Panels (PDP) were studied using various systems.In the 3-component (Xe-25%Ne-He bal.) systems, an increase in the pressure and Xe content contributed to an increase in the 147nm atomic emission, whereas above a certain point this decreased.
