55 year old woman with pneumonia

Abstract: A 55 year old Caucasian female smoker, with past medical history significant for hypertension and peptic ulcer disease presented to the emergency department with a four day complaint of malaise, fever, and myalgias. She was seen by her primary care physician who started her on amoxicillin clavulanate for possible strep throat infection. Her family reported a productive cough with green sputum, pleuritic chest pain, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea for one week. They also felt she was getting more confused over th… Show more

“…To date, a number of models have been proposed to explain the structural arrangement in the amorphous chalcogenide materials, which range from stochastic models, as the continuous-random-network model, to non-stochastic ones, as the discrete polycrystalline model, and the question follows being controversial [1][2][3][4][5][6]. However, from the monitoring of the thermal characteristics of some chalcogenide alloys, it has been recently reported that different structural regimes take place at different compositions, which push to leave the stochastic models and think of non-linearities occurring at the material formation stage [4].…”

“…The primary information about the structure of MG is generally derived from the ( ) S q , which could be calculated using primary diffraction data or MD simulation [44]. Compared to the structural information reflected by the fluctuations at a higher q range of ( ) S q , it is suggested that the first peak can reveal more structural information and is widely studied as characteristics of MRO [45].…”
